ignorance really is bliss..

Would it be conceited to deem yourself as a person who knows too much?

Sometimes I feel that way.  Not in the sense where I believe i'm extremely intelligent and know every fact about everything there is to know, but in a way where i'm completely conscious of what is going on around me at any given time.

Sort of like a sixth sense.  I seriously envy those that are dense because they let so many things slide.  I mean, I guess in a sense, being really observant and overthinking every little thing can be beneficial.. but sometimes I really REALLY wish I didn't notice these things.

I'll just pretend this is a gift that will help me control peoples minds or something.

This post is extremely ironic by the way. *looks around*

  2. Yeah, i have that too sometimes. I see things and make connections/associations between things that my friends never noticed.

  3. I often feel the opposite--if I'd only not missed that one connection, if I'd only seen that one uniting thread, I might have done something great, or would know exactly how to comfort someone, or bolster someone's confidence.

Sometimes when I don't see those connections, I hurt someone's feelings-but I can't imagine having to keep all those threads in my mind at once.

    Pros and cons, I suppose

  4. Swift, you want to try everything, don't you?

But yeah, I can't say I've ever felt that way. It's actually the opposite more often than not.

But that's not relevant. What's relevant is that I like your blog and I'm following you from hereon.

I have a blog as well, which can follow if you're interested. It's the life story of a badass, modern Pecos-Bill-type character told in daily vignettes. I'm looking for actual readers, rather than just clickers/supporters, so if anyone's interested, feel free to take a look. =)

  6. I see how that could get annoying. But it seems like it'd be beneficial for the most part.

  13. i constantly am doing this.
    like, take last valentines day.
my girlfriend at the time was talking to an old friend from highschool on the phone.
i was in the room, but cooking.
not really trying to listen in, cause i needed to make sure i didn't burn her omlette. well she said she was gonna get this choir for someone. a choir who sings for people on valentines day.
so i figured, okay, well its not gonna be someone else she's getting it for.
then the next day, 30 kids walk into my small ass apartment and sing the shit outta me.
i was surprised by the number, but not the gesture. sucked.

  16. ahhh, well
i dont know what your beliefs are, but there is something you might want to look at
    http://www.spiritualforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=11861
    read all three,
it may be hard to believe
    but its a legitimate thing
(I use to have uncontrollable emotions
and would always seem to know when something was wrong without even having to see the signs)
    hope that helps
and trust me, every ability we have can be used as a gift
it just takes a bit of imagination
fare well for now friend =D
